Funundrum!

Last night we took Maury and Carter to see the circus for the first time! We got there early so we could experience the pre-show on the floor. They loved looking at everything but did not want to get close enough to touch or be touched. Once the show started Maury and Carter danced, clapped, and waved all night long.....well almost, we left at intermission because it was already past bed-time. Maury, Carter and I are looking forward to going back next year, not so sure about Daddy (he was exhausted from the child juggling he was forced to do from his seat)!

Morning at McWane

One of our favorite Christmas gifts this year was a McWane Center pass from Migi and Papa C. Maury, Carter and I spent Friday morning there and had a blast. We are looking forward to many more adventures at McWane this year!

Spiderman Moves to a Big Boy Bed

Once again Carter escaped from his crib during nap time so we decided it best (and safest) to move him to a big boy bed. The bed has been in his room since we moved so we just had to assemble a rail tonight. We put Carter in his crib to keep him out of the way while we set up and he gave us a demonstration on how he has been getting out which confirmed our decision on the move! He's still not asleep (one hour after his bedtime) but he is in the bed, although I've had to put him back in twice!

My Climber

This is Carter climbing on the table in the playroom during nap time just minutes after he climbed/jumped out of his crib (no nap). Awesome.

Fresh Air!

A few days of warmer weather has been wonderful! We went to the park for the first time in quite a while and we've gotten the sidewalk chalk back out at home!

Shut-Ins

The "Arctic Blast" has kept us indoors this week and we've been searching for activities. Owen set up canvases in the garage one day and let Maury and Carter create their own masterpieces which are now displayed in the playroom!

Sleepover in Tupelo

We NEVER are able to go to Tupelo to visit much less spend the night but we made the effort while we were out of school. Maury and Carter had so much fun with Char and JD! The Wise's taught us lots of new tricks like how to be puppy dogs! They took us to Health Works were we had the place to ourselves! Thanks for letting us crash Aunt E-E!
