Mommy and Me Fitness

We went to our first Mommy and Me fitness class today.  It was a great workout and a lot of fun for all of us!  Maury and Carter really got into it and Caroline was very entertained by watching us (I was also very entertained)!  We are already looking forward to our next class!

Chipwrecked

I continued seeking out activities to fill our Spring Break and decided we would try the dollar movie!  I figured it would be a disaster but if I had to get up and leave it wouldn't be a big loss.  They kids proved me wrong and were on their best behavior and the movie was super cute!!!

Spring Break Destination

Most people go to the beach, some go skiing, but when I asked Maury where she wanted to go for Spring Break she said "Yogurt Mountain!"  Lucky for her I knew I could easily make that happen!  When I picked them up from school on Friday we headed straight to YM!  Carter's Spring Break pick is Pierce's house so hopefully I can grant his wish sometime this week too!!!  This was Caroline's first taste of yogurt and she was a big fan :)

Happy Birthday Catherine!!!

The Wises were in Decatur for their Spring Break last week so we went to visit and celebrate Catherine's first birthday a week early!  So hard to believe Cathrine is 1 and Caroline will be soon!  We were only there for about 24 hours but we made the most of our cousin time!!!

SUPER SATURDAY

Last Saturday was filled with lots of family fun!  We were outside pretty much all day long enjoying the fabulous Spring weather!  First we met friends at the zoo, I was surprised at how excited Carter was.  It has been a while since we have been but it was as if it was his first visit!  He loved every minute!  And it really was Caroline's first visit and she seemed to enjoy it almost as much as Carter.  We had a picnic lunch before heading home and then Daddy to the big two to the Preserve while Caroline napped.  They practiced soccer and, according to Maury and Carter, looked for bears!


 

Double Digits

Caroline was 10 months old on Monday!!!  She has been super busy growing up the past 4 weeks!  She started crawling several weeks ago and this week started crawling from room to room.  She has been saying "da da da da" for a while (not necessarily to or about Daddy) but last week she technically said her first word- bye-bye, and she waves (Mimi is a good teacher)!  This week she finally started babbling "ma ma ma ma" but again not really in context.  She is done with baby food and will eat almost anything we give her and she has finally gotten the hang of her sippy cup.  She got her first and second tooth this month!  I found her toothbrush that I probably bought before she was born (b/c I brushed the other two's gums early on, poor Caroline) and we finally started brushing!  She was 24 pound last week at the ENT.  I guess she will stay just as busy this month, baby girl is growing too fast!!!

Dance Pics

After Daddy got home we had to get Maury dolled up for her dance pictures.  Her group is dancing to a song from The Princess and the Frog so naturally their costumes are lime green.......not sure how the hat goes with the theme but when it all came together it was pretty cute!

Hurry Home Daddy!

We REALLY missed Daddy while he was in Vegas this week!  I realized when he was in the air on his way home we could track his airplane!  Maury and Carter thought it was really cool :)

Tubes for Caroline!!!

Finally!  After 5 ear infections in a short amount of time we got the go ahead for tubes!  Of course this happened before Disney so we had to push it back and then had to schedule it while Owen was in Vegas!  Luckily, Mimi came to the rescue and helped us out for a few days.  Caroline was an awesome patient, sweet girl wasn't even crying when they brought her back to me, she ate when we got home, took at nap, and continued on her normal schedule!  What a champ!!!

Special Afternoon for Carter

Carter got super lucky this week that Pierce invited him over to play!  With Daddy in Vegas all week, this was also fabulous for Mommy!  Going to Pierce's house is about like Disney world in Carter's book!!!  He talked about P's "tracks" in the driveway so we made out own and have driven laps around it all week!!!

Gymnastics!

Maury went with her friend Kathryn to a gymnastics parents night out last week!  She had a blast and wants to do again really soon!!!

5 Year Old Check Up

Maury was such a big girl for her check-up.  She was aware that she could be getting shots and was okay with it.  She didn't like it too much but calmed down quickly and told me it wasn't that back and she would help me when Carter turns 5.  Maury is 42 pounds and 45 inches tall.  We are so blessed with this healthy 5 year old and can not believe she is ready for Kindergarten!!! 

Missed this SWEET GIRL!!!

We sure did miss Caroline while we were gone but she was well taken care of at Migi and Papa C's!  I knew she was about to crawl so I told Migi to hold her all week and I'm pretty sure she did :).  She started crawling the day after we got home and is getting around pretty well now!  Big Girl also got her first tooth the day before we left!!!

Last Day, Magic Kingdom

We got to Magic Kingdom in time for the opening show!  All of the characters rode in on the train to open the park!  It was a lot of fun to watch!  First we did the things we missed our first day and then rode all of our favorites again!  Our family was able to stay the whole day but the rest of our crew had to fly home after lunch.  After we finished another round in the park we stopped for souvenirs and treats on the way out.  We got back to the hotel in time for dinner and a movie on the big screen outside, the kids loved it!  We slept really well and were up before the sun to catch Disney's Magical Express back to the airport!
