Old Baker Farm

Yesterday I got to go with Maury on her first Kindergarten field trip!  We went to Old Baker Farm where we saw animals, picked cotton, went through a hay maze, had lunch in the top of the barn and went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch.  We had a great time and I loved seeing Maury interact with the other kids, she was much more outgoing that I expected!  I am so glad she loves Kindergarten and has so many sweet friends in her class!

Caroline's First Cut

Once I heard my friend Stacy say she cuts her own kids hair I decided she qualified to give Caroline her first trim.  I learned on my first child that cutting hair is not my forte but luckily it is Stacy's!  Caroline behaved thanks to a sucker and Stacy did a fabulous job!!!

Another Bulldog Win!!!

We headed back to Starkville last Saturday and got to see our Dawgs move to 4-0 but came home with a little more than another W.  The stomach bug and possibly a few other bugs put a damper on our weekend but we had a great time before all of that hit us!  We had lots of pre-game fun as always, face painting, jumpies, food, and even autographs from the volleyball team ;)

Nurse Maury

Maury had community helper day at school last week.  I collected a few things at work and she added them to her doctor bag and the accessories to her scrub set.  She was so excited to be a nurse like Mommy!!!

Super Dad

Owen has had a lot of quality time with the kids lately.  With me working to evenings a week he is in charge of pick-up, dinner, baths and bedtime on those days and I got to take a fabulous beach trip a few weeks back and he had 3 full days of parenting fun!  And then last Sunday I had the stomach bug and he got them of the house for a while!  They've done a lot of hiking and they frequent the pet store and the dollar store.  He is pretty good about taking pictures if he has the camera, I have a few to document 2 of his many outings :)

Hail State!!!

We missed game one while we were at the beach so we were super excited to get to Starkville for the first time this season!  We had a great time watching our Bulldogs beat Auburn and then got to meet Mimi, Gandy, and the Wises to eat after the game.  Both Maury and Carter cried when we left, we don't get to see them enough :(  (I am counting on pics from LA to post later).

Special Lunch Date

I got to go eat lunch with Maury in the lunch room last week!  I didn't really care if I actually ate or not but she told me just to sit with her and not eat this time ;)  It was breakfast day and she seemed to really enjoy her bag of pancakes but I don't think I missed much!  It was fun to meet all of her new friends and watch my big girl go through the line all by herself, she even let me take a few pictures without having a meltdown!!!

All About Maury

Maury's first big homework assignment in Kindergarten was her "All About Me" book!  We had lots of fun working on it and she was so proud of the finished product!!!

Back to the Beach

Labor Day weekend we headed back to the beach, this time with Daddy!!!  We had a great time with Migi, Papa C, Aunt Cam, Uncle Lee, Tre-Tre, Aunt Alex, and Uncle Joe!

BFF

Carter has been over the moon this year with Pierce in his class!  Seeing him every single day except some Saturdays is a dream come true for.  We pick Pierce up some days so he can play for a while, it just doesn't get much better than that in the life of a 4 year old boy!!!
