Caroline 18 months/Family Fall Pics

We had Erin take pictures a few weeks back primarily for Caroline at 18 months but attempted family pictures and a Christmas card picture.  Caroline did well for her solo shots but it went downhill from there.  As always, Erin got what I needed, I can't expect smiles from everyone all the time!!!  Posting a few of my favorites :)

Carter's Thanksgiving Feast

Carter was excited all week about his Thanksgiving feast at school!  He was really pumped that he got to take cheese sticks (one of his favorite snacks)!  He told me all about the Pilgrims and Indians when he got home, he is learning so much in 4K!!!

Last Home Game

It was a beautiful day in Starkville on Saturday as we watched our Bulldogs beat Arkansas!  The weather was perfect, the game was great, and the kids did the best they've done all season! 

Turkey Trot

Caroline and I got to go watch Maury's Turkey Trot at school last week!  Maury and her class ran laps around the track, Caroline and I ran a few with her.  Maury has never been a fan of running but she did pretty well!  I think she is warming up to it and hopefully she will keep it up since she is registered for the Mercedes Kids Marathon!

A Long Weekend

We don't get many long weekends these days with Maury in "big" school so we took advantage of it and packed in as much as we could!  The zoo, a nature walk, we took training wheels off (we need a lot more practice), a birthday party, the dentist, a cousin sleepover, and the McWane Center!  We may not have been rested after our extra day off but we had a lot of fun!!! 

Bluff Park Open House

Maury showed us around her school at open house last night!  Mimi and Gandy even got to come!  She was so proud to show us her class and all of her specials and I loved seeing all of the places I have heard about but haven't seen yet.  I am so thankful that she loves Kindergarten!!!

Caroline was 18 months old on Monday!  She was 26 lbs and 33 inches at her check up.  She was really clingy but didn't even cry with her finger stick or shot, she just protested when they tried to weigh her, examine her, etc.  We are thankful for this precious, sweet, dramatic, healthy baby girl.  She keeps us laughing and on our toes at all times!!!

At 18 months Caroline loves books and babies.  She constantly brings me books and wants to me to sit down so she can sit in my lap and "read."  I re-direct her to Maury's lap when I am busy ;)  She points to all of the things she can name and is saying new words every day.  She will say almost anything!  Her phrase of the week is "Oh, what's that?"  She loves playing chase around the house with Maury and "Car-car,"  she thinks she is as big as they are.  We had pictures done this week and she showed out but we got a few good ones I will post later :)

Pierce is 5!

We went from a 30th birthday party to a 5th birthday party!  Totally different atmospheres, both lots of fun!  Maury and Carter were so excited about laser tag!  It was a super fun party, so glad we got to celebrate our special friend Pierce's big day!

Party at Kearney Park

We helped celebrate Aunt Cameron's 30th last weekend at Kearney Park!  We rode horses, 4-wheelers, ran, climbed, and packed in a whole lot of outdoor fun in a short time!  We were all exhausted when we got home!  What a fun place for a party, so glad we got to go, wish I had taken more pictures!!!

We had another year of successful trick-or-treating!  They get faster each year which means they get more candy that I need to get rid of!  We hit 2 Halloween parties and saw lots of spooky friends!  We love having friends in our neighborhood to trick-or-treat with!
