Valentine's Fun and a Not So Fun Check-up

6 years-46 lbs-46.5 in

Our Valentine's fun spread throughout the week!  The kids had surprises in the mail, parties at school and church, and goodies at home!  I remembered at breakfast that morning that Maury had her 6-year-old check-up!  We hurried to get ready and there by 8!  She didn't like the finger prick (no shots) but other than that it went great!

Happy Birthday Maury!!!

Maury woke up on her 4th and 5th birthdays at Disney so it was a little hard to compete with that kind of special day but we did our best!  She was thrilled to go to school on her 6th birthday!!!  After a special doughnut breakfast and a present, she headed out with a 6 on her shirt and a smile on her face!  It wasn't long until I got to pop in her class, read a book, and have lunch with her.  When she got off the bus she had changed her mind about her special supper at home and wanted to go out for "chips and dip."  I prepared her on the way that they may sing to her so we wouldn't have a meltdown.  She was pretty embarrassed but handled it well ;)  After chips and dip we came home and lead her downstairs to another present, a mini-tramp!  All 3 kids were thrilled with this gift and Daddy was/is a little nervous!  I can't believe my Maury is 6!!! I'm pretty sure she had a Happy Birthday!!!

Maury and Sarah Elizabeth Celebrate 6!!!

This makes the third year these sweet girls have had their birthday party together!  I don't know what we'll do if there aren't in the same class next year!  They picked a pottery painting party at Painted-By-U this time.  Maury is a lover of all things arts and crafts so she was thrilled, they all had a blast!!!

Snow Pic

I can't remember if the snow was before or after my last post but I am sticking this one in here.  We had a crazy afternoon when the snow fell because we couldn't get to school to pick up the kids and I couldn't get down the street to go to work!  Anyway, Owen made it to pick them up and I made it to work late.  I asked Owen to take a picture since I was at work and couldn't see them in the snow!  Looks like fun, huh???
