I can't seem to keep them little. Although I know we are extremely blessed with every birthday, a part of me is always a little sad to see them growing up. I will blink and Carter will be taller than me! His big day was filled with his favorites- doughnuts, ice cream sandwiches, buddies (he got to pick 2 for lunch), and more cookie cake. He really wanted a roommate for his birthday and decided a pet would do. He went from dog to cat to hamster to turtle, we finally convienced him to start with fish (now 4 months later we've seen 8 or so fish come and go)! Happy Birthday Buddy, don't know what we'd do without this funny, kind-hearted kid that keeps up laughing!
