Where Are Mommy's Babies???

We've started the packing process for our upcoming move and Maury and Carter were thrilled to have a new hiding place once this cabinet was packed up! They fit in there perfectly and love to get in, and close the doors, and play the "where are we?" game. I'm thinking it could be a good "time-out" spot if they didn't enjoy it so much!

Happy Father's Day!

We celebrated Father's Day in Brandon with Papa C (Migi, Aunt Cami, Uncle Lee, and Aunt Alex too)! We are very thankful for the wonderful fathers in our lives! Maury and Carter love their Daddy so much (disregard their behavior in the photo) and are so lucky to have him! We love you Daddy! We love you Papa C and Gandy! Miss you Gandy, we'll come see you soon!

30 Something

Owen and I both recently celebrated birthdays. This entry is a bit delayed because I haven't been super excited about the big 3-0. If I could turn 30 again for the next 10-20 years it would be fine but I know the number will continue to rise! Owen seemed to be fine with 31 (and 30 last year)! The kids are topless in my b-day pic because we had just come in from the pool and they were about to eat supper!

A Bit More Beach

I finally got all of our beach pictures uploaded! Here are some highlights!

And He's Off!

Carter is now a walker! He's gone weeks with his crawl/walk method but I think he's finally giving up the speed crawling for a quick step! I may have to start lifting weights now to keep my arms in shape!

Oh, and Maury is telling me to look at her doll (Gray Bug who's named after cousin Gray) that is hanging on her bed rail.

DORA LIVE!!!

After dancing at Family Night Maury and I headed to Dora Live! She has been a big Dora fan for quite a while and I knew Carter would not sit still so it was a Mother/Daughter outing. She loved it, never took her eyes off the stage! She woke up this morning and said "I want to go see Dora!" We were TOLD not to take pictures so when I snapped one before the show started I got in trouble! I waited till intermission in the lobby to take a pic with her souvenir!

VBS Family Night

We've been busy this week with Vacation Bible School! I'm teaching so Maury and Carter get to go too! Last night was family night and all of the kids sang the songs they sing every morning. Maury did a little swaying and toe tapping but Carter really got down (he is a big dancer)!

A Bit of the Beach

My computer is not cooperating as I try to upload 400+ beach pics. It quit after 175. I guess I'll post now with what I've got and work on the problem later!

We spent last week at the beach with Mimi, Gandy, the Wise's and the Jackson's. We all had a wonderful time! Maury and Carter loved the pool and the beach and getting to play with their cousins for a 7 days in a row was a definite bonus! We are still trying to catch up on rest from all of the fun!
