Happy and Healthy Big Girl

Having a birthday means time for check-ups! Maury went to the dentist last night (no pics, my hands were busy holding her down) and for her 3 year check-up at the doctor today. She did pretty well at the dentist after a few tears and a lot of bribes and she was super at the doctor! Big stand-up scales, standing up for height, checking blood pressure all big girls things! Maury is 33 lbs, 10 oz (70%) and 39 in (90%). She is growing up WAY too fast!!! Carter tagged along and was a great helper as usual :)

Monkey See, Monkey Doo Doo?

I am no where near ready to potty train Carter but I'm thinking when the time comes it may be to my advantage that he does and says everything that Maury does and says! I'm wondering if I could put Maury in charge of potty training him???

Movie Night

Last Friday night Maury and I went to Family Movie Night at church! We watched "Herbie the Love Bug" (or maybe I should say it was shown) and dined on lots of pop-corn. I think between Maury and Henry we may have gone through 6 large cups (with some ending up on the floor). Maury really just thought it was fun to be in her pj's and slippers and eat lots of snacks while in her sleeping bag! While the girls were at movie night Owen and Carter took a boys trip to the Bass Masters Classic and I'm sorry to report that I have no photos to prove it!

Happy ♥ Day!

We celebrated Valentine's Day a day late because of all of the birthday hoopla. Maury and Carter didn't know the difference of course, we probably could have skipped it all together. They were excited to get more candy and loved the book with Mommy and Daddy's voices recorded!

Maury's 3rd Birthday Party......Finally!

After weeks of talking about her party at the "jumpin place" and then re-scheduling due to snow, we finally got to celebrate Maury's 3rd birthday with her friends and cousins! Maury had so much fun sliding, bouncing and eating cupcakes and ice cream! The party was worth the wait!

What A BirthDay!

Maury woke up on her third birthday and was excited to find that her Daddy had left her doughnuts with pink icing and sprinkles for breakfast! We ran around getting last minute things done for her birthday party and then the snow started and didn't stop until dark! Maury's best bud Henry came by to wish her a happy birthday and wanted her to get to open his gift (2 Fancy Nancy books that made her day)! The party has been rescheduled (Maury doesn't have a clue) and we enjoyed the snow. Daddy made a last minute trip to Target to create a princess pizza party at home!

It's so hard for me to believe Maury is 3 today! She is such a blessing in our lives. I am so very thankful for every amazing moment with her and am looking forward to her future (I just wish it would slow down a little)! She is the best big sister to Carter and he thinks she hung the moon! Happy Birthday Sweet Maury!!!

Happy Valentine's BIRTHday!

Maury had her birthday party incorporated into her Valentine's party at school today! She took special cookies we made last night and she got to wear a birthday hat! Her sweet friends sang "Happy Birthday" to her too. Maury was all smiles!

Happy Birthday x 3

We had lots of practice singing "Happy Birthday" over the weekend to prep us for Maury's upcoming birthday. Saturday we celebrated Grace and Grant's first and on Sunday Maury bounced around at Sarah Elizabeth's third birthday! Maury is definitely ready for her turn and Carter is ready for more cake!

Purplicious

Maury got to open an early birthday present today from the Wise's! They can't make it to her party next week so John David and Charlotte gave her a gift at Mimi's house today. Maury was super excited to open her first present and loves her Purplicious pj's and book (so much that she went to sleep in her pj's after we read her book)!!!

Fun-Dip

Owen was really excited that he bought the kids some Fun-Dip this week and actually asked me not to give it to them because he wanted to (I told him not to worry I had no intentions of giving it to them)!

Mary Bradford's Got Talent

We headed to Decatur last night to see Mary Bradford perform in her schools talent show. We were highly entertained by all of the acts throughout the night but Mary Bradford and her pals' rap/dance number was definitely our favorite! Carter thought he was a part of the show and really showed out with some of his best dance moves. Maury was thrilled to sit with the other cousins and take it all in!

We headed back to McWane today and to add to the excitement and fun Pierce met us there! Can't wait for our next trip!!!
