Motorsports Museum

Daddy took the kids on a special outing to the Barber Motorsports Museum last weekend!  As they entered they were told no touching and no sitting in cars.  Owen said Maury and Carter immediately went in opposite directions and climbed into two different cars.  Needless to say, they did not stay long!

Growing Up

I can hardly believe Maury will be 4 in a few weeks!  She has been looking forward to turning 4 and getting a booster seat so she picked out a beautiful butterfly one last week and got to try it out in Daddy's truck.  She was thrilled!  I think we could have let her unwrap it for her birthday and she would have thought it was the best gift ever (I will remember that when Carter turns 4)!

Ice Skating

Maury and Carter preferred to be spectators when we went ice skating with the Jackson girls.  I will give Maury credit, she jumped right into her skates grabbed her bar and got out on the ice with Aunt Amy.  But that's as far as she got, she did not want to move forward on the ice.  Carter, on the other hand, never put his skates on.  He did some big talking on the way but when we got to the rink he declined to participate, he did enjoy watching the Zamboni though!

He Doesn't Have a Chance!

At least he has on his super hero cape and not a princess dress!

GUILTY!!!
Carter is all boy but he loves his big sister and will do almost anything she tells him to do and love it!  And with another sister on the way I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot more of this!!!

A Puppet Show!

Aunt Chris had all kinds of good ideas of fun games and crafts to entertain the kids while we were in Brandon!  One of Maury and Carter's favorites was making sock puppets and then putting on a puppet show!  Aunt Chris was even a trooper and was Carter's bed buddy while we were there (he has worn out his welcome sleeping with most everyone else)!!!

Princess for a Day.....

or maybe for 5 minutes.  We stopped by Aunt Cameron's bridal shop after the museum and Maury got to play dress up!!!

Mississippi Children's Museum

Migi and Aunt Chris took us to the Children's Museum while we were visiting over the weekend.  From fishing, to dancing, to cooking, to climbing, a great time was had by all!

Candy Land

Santa brought Maury Candy Land and it helped entertain while school was out!  However, I think I understand why the box says ages 3 and up.  The 2 1/2 year old at our house does not go the right direction on the game board and throws all of the Gingerbread men and game cards if he does not draw a blue square!!!  Maybe by April 4th we can play the game in an orderly fashion :)
