Sibling Class Graduates

Last night Maury and Carter went to a sibling class/tour at the hospital to get ready for baby Caroline!  Maury was a good listener and Carter was very vocal and wanted to answer all of the questions!  Their favorite part was probably snack time but they did learn three important rules that we have been reviewing: 1.  Always ask mommy or daddy before holding the baby  2.  Always wash your hands before touching the baby and 3. Never climb on baby's crib.  When we left Maury said she didn't really like the class because she didn't get to hold any babies!

Muscle Shirt

The Easter Bunny put these super cool pj's in Carter's basket and he doesn't want to take his "muscle shirt" off!  He thinks his muscles are HUGE when he wears it!!!

He is Risen!

We cleaned the chocolate off of our faces, got dressed, and headed to church to celebrate our risen Lord!
Carter wasn't cooperating for a picture.

Maury was so proud wearing Mommy's dress!

After church we had a wonderful Easter lunch with friends!  We decided to stay in town this year since we had nursery duty and I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant!  After lunch Maury, Carter and Pierce got in one last egg hunt!

Happy Easter!!!

Running in to check it out!

Chocolate Bunnies for Breakfast!
Despite lots of threats of having empty Easter baskets when they woke,  Maury and Carter somehow managed to end up on Mr. Easter Bunny's nice list this year (they have been going through a rough patch lately, maybe because of the upcoming arrival of baby sister).  They were super excited as they searched through their baskets and loved it all!  After taking a survey of the mess left in the den Carter said "Maury got beautiful stuff in her basket and I got cool stuff!"  They've been living off of candy for almost a week now!

Water Fun

This warm weather gave us an excuse to get the sprinkler out for the first time this year and I was even able talk Daddy and his little helpers into washing my car!!!

On the Links!!

Carter wasn't much for a nice quiet round of golf but he did like geting balls out of Daddy's bag and throwing to me.  He really liked climbing around on the rocks and kicking the balls across the green to try to get them into the hole.  It was our first ever attempt at a round of golf. (added by Daddy)

A Bunny Birthday

Saturday Maury and I helped celebrate Olivia's 4th birthday!  Her Easter party was complete with lots of treats, an egg hunt, and even an appearance by the Easter Bunny himself (Maury didn't care to get close enough for a pic)!  Happy Birthday Olivia!!!
Carter was too busy playing golf and didn't make it to the party.....

The Easter Bunny and Another Hunt

Yesterday we met friends at the mall to visit Mr. Easter Bunny!  Maury and Carter were a little apprehensive as we approached so we let our brave buddy Pierce go first.  After watching Pierce, Carter was all smiles and hugs but Maury was still reluctant as usual.  Thank goodness the Patterson's went last because the twins were terrified and may be scarred for life!!!

After a quick nap we headed to the Surtees' for another egg hunt!

Dying Eggs

We decorated eggs last night!  Maury got so excited when I told her our plans, she remembered doing it last year and is a major lover of crafts so it was her idea of a perfect evening...... that is until I said the word "dying."  Bless her heart, lately she has been worried about dying/heaven.  She talks about it daily and I struggle to find the answer that she wants to hear.  I've resorted to saying okay when she says she is going to stay 4. Anyway, when I said we were going to dye the eggs she immediately looked panicked and concerned for the eggs so we explained what dye was.  After we got over that issue we had a ton of fun decorating!!!  I think Carter only broke one!

Church Egg Hunt

The train with Daddy.....

then Carter had to go again with Pierce!

Tattoos!!!

Sunday was our first Egg Hunt of the week!  Maury and Carter are at perfect ages this year, they loved every minute!  The hunt was definitely the favorite part of the afternoon but they had a blast riding the train, getting their faces painted and getting balloon animals made!  We had a hard time keeping up with them to take picture during the hunt.  When I did catch Maury I saw she was shaking eggs and throwing them back and I told her to put them in her basket, she said "No, those don't have candy in them!"  We hadn't even talked about the eggs having prizes, smart girl!
