Ready for Takeoff!!!

We arrived at the airport around 7:30 am to begin our Disney adventure!!!  We met up with the cousins after almost getting in trouble with security for the knife in the doughnut box (and Aunt Amy had one in her backpack)!!!  The flight went smoothly until Maury threw up, things went South from there.  The flight attendant helped clean Maury up(the fasten seat belt sign was on and I was sitting across the way), some major turbulence sent drinks and peanuts rolling down the isle, then we landed safely and I carried feverish Maury off the plane and she fell asleep on Disney's Magical Express.  So, I am thinking the worst (stomach bug for all of us) but hoping for the best! Hooray!  We made it!!!  Let the memories begin (or continue)!!!

Bye-Bye Caroline and Birthday Dinner

The night before we flew out for Disney we met Migi and Papa C to hand Caroline over and celebrate Maury's birthday!  Migi brought lots of presents and a cake!  We enjoyed our dinner and cake and gave Caroline lots of hugs and kisses.  I was worried she would get a tooth and start crawling while we were gone but I found her first tooth at dinner and I told Migi to hold her all week (and I am pretty sure she did b/c she is a now rotten baby).  We were sad to leave her but knew she would have much more fun in Brandon!  So thankful for wonderful grandparents (those that take us to Disney and those that take such good care of our baby so we can go)!!!!

Super Special Visitors

We had a special treat before our Disney trip when the Andersons passed through town and stopped to spend the night!  We haven't seen them in about a year and had never met sweet Stella!  The kids had a great time playing and we wish we could do it more often.  Maybe I will brave a drive to Charlotte this summer......

Valentines

Maury and Carter have been getting their Valentines ready this week because they will miss their class parties next week.  They are okay with it since they will be spending the day with Mickey :)

9 Months!!!

I don't know where the time goes but here she is, 9 months old!!!  Caroline is such a sweet baby when she is well!  She just got over her 5th ear infection and will get tubes in a few weeks.  She is now getting up on all fours, I am afraid she will start crawling next week while she is in MS with Migi and Papa C!  Still no teeth (will probably get one next week as well)!  She weighed 22 lbs and 4 oz and was 28 inches long.  She loves Carter and Maury and still gets a kick out of everything they do, she finally like going to Near and Dear when I am at work, she loves a bath, and she is starting to eat table food and likes it a lot! 

Going GLAM!!!

Maury and her BFF Sarah Elizabeth have birthdays the same week so for the second year in a row we have celebrated together!!!  This year the girls wanted a makeover party with their girlfriends!  We did it all, hair, make-up, nails, glamorous gowns.  They looked fabulous!!!  After a parade up the driveway and down the sidewalk we had a fancy tea party.  Maury and Sarah Elizabeth loved every minute of it and I think their guests did too!

ONE WEEK!!!

We've been on the countdown since Christmas when Mimi and Gandy announced that they are taking us to Disney on February 11th!  Mimi made calendars and a paper chain to help us count down the days.  Now that we are well into February our chain is really short Maury and Carter can see that there aren't many days to go!  Plus a few essentials for our trip arrived in the mail on Friday!  We are so excited!!!

Caroline is excited too, we haven't told her she isn't going yet :( !!!

Little Swimmer

I'd like to say Caroline is trying to crawl but if you were to watch her try to get around on her belly she looks more like a fish out of water.  I'm not pushing her to crawl.  My life will be much easier as long as she only rolls around and "swims!"
