Parker's Princess Party

Caroline went to her very first birthday party for a friend after the Santa Breakfast.  She was thrilled and had a big time!  Dressing up is her favorite thing to do so she was right at home at the princess party!  She did a lot of dancing, played limbo, got a tattoo, had a tea party, and tried to be a big helper unwrapping gifts!  Big day!!!

Bluff Park Santa Breakfast

Maury and Carter did a fabulous job performing at their school's Santa Breakfast.  They were in the same group so that made it easy!  They sang lots of Christmas songs plus a few Hanukka songs (their fave, C said he wish he was Jewish)!  The Santa line was super long so we waved at him!

Check and Check

When we got home from Brandon we had a Christmas card pic and decorating for Christmas on our to do list.  We got it all done, maybe not exactly how I had envisioned, but I'm not super picky these days, just glad to get it done ;)

Happy Hail State Thanksgiving!!!

We had a great time in Brandon during Thanksgiving!  And Owen and I really had a great time in Starkville while the kids stayed in Brandon!  An Egg Bowl win sitting with Lindsey and Rick made for a pretty incredible night!  We have so much to be thankful for including the golden egg ;)

Dress-Up Queen

Caroline lives in dress-up clothes.  She wakes up and puts something on,  I change her for school and she dresses back up when she gets home.  I know that stuff has to be itchy but she does not care!  She thinks it is fabulous!!!  I love it and hope she doesn't grow out of this sweet stage too soon :)

"I sleep with Carter!"

Caroline doesn't ask, she tells.  She is a demanding and sassy little thing.  A couple of times she has told us she was going to sleep with Carter and she did!  Surprisingly, she went to sleep pretty quickly!  We moved her before we went to bed knowing it wouldn't last all night!

Happy Veteran's Day

Caroline's teacher is great about texting pictures!  I love this one (especially her hair, I sent her with a ponytail) from Veteran's Day!

I think this picture was closer to Thanksgiving because she has on a turkey shirt, not sure what she's making but it looks like fun :)

Barnsley Gardens

Owen and I enjoyed a relaxing getaway at Barnsley Gardens Veteran's Day weekend.  It was so nice to have a little break!  We went to the spa, played golf, and enjoyed the scenery and peace and quiet!

Another School Lunch Date

Overlapping lunch times work well for me this year!  Love visiting with these kiddos!!!

Princesses on Ice

We made a last minute decision to take a special girls trip to Princesses on Ice! Amelia and Sarah Elizabeth met us at Chick-fil-a for dinner and then we headed to the show.  Caroline was in awe and loved every minute!  The big school girls were a little sleepy by the end but we all loved the show!

Stomach Bug

It comes every year, at least once.  Usually it's around Thanksgiving.  It hit us a little early this year, and although 4/5ths of us had it, I only got a picture of poor Carter.  Praying we are exempt till at least next fall!

Trick-or-Treat

Halloween was fun and fast, Caroline and I struggled to keep up with the big two!  It was raining, so we didn't get many pics of the speedy trick-or-treaters!!!  The neighborhood party was at maximum capacity with ghosts and ghouls :)

Halloween Week Fun

Halloween week bring lots of fun activities and dress up days!  Blogging 2 months later, I'm hoping I can remember it all correctly ;)
Storybook Character Day- Fancy Nancy and Jack Sparrow

Wear Red for Drug Awareness Day

Caroline's monster snack at school

Not sure....think they were just playing dress up :)

PJ Day

Ghostbusters!

Maury's ballet class got to dress up and did a Halloween dance to "Ghostbusters" the week of Halloween!  So fun!!!

Crest Fest 2013

We always have a great time at Crest Fest and this year was no exception!  The velcro wall was a new feature this year giving us added entertainment ;)
