Wrapping it Up

Carter and Caroline ended their school year at the Dayschool last week.  Carter had a water day, a pizza party, and we ended his last day with his buddies at the park!  He has had a great year in 4K!  Caroline just started asking to go to school on the days she didn't go no that we are out for the summer.  Hopefully she will transition well into 2K after the break! Maury has a few more days but I had to sneak in a lunch date before the other two got out!!!

Water Day!

Caroline loves Mrs. Rebecca and Mrs. Tiffany

My last lunch with these 2 as Kindergarteners!

Last carpool together :(

Carter's 4K Graduation

It's hard to believe another year has come and gone and we have one more graduating from the Dayschool.  I am so thankful to have one more baby there, I don't know if I will survive Caroline's graduation in 3 years!  Carter had a big time, he loves to put on a show!  We were so glad Gandy came to watch.  We are so proud of Carter and we know he is ready for Kindergarten I just wish time would SLOW DOWN!!!

Mother's Day

I am blessed beyond measure to be the mother of these three (don't they look thrilled)!!!  We celebrated Mother's Day with lunch in Decatur with Mimi.  I am also blessed with a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother!!!  So thankful for these special women in our lives!

Poetry Picnic

Maury had a poetry picnic at school that included special Mother's Day treats too!  We had to picnic inside because of the weather but it was a special lunch!

Zoo Trip

I forgot to include this earlier!  When Migi and Papa C visited we also went to the zoo!  Carter had been asking to go see the Dino exhibit since Maury went on her field trip.  He loved it and Caroline is still talking about the dinos saying they "spit" and "scared Migi!"

Spring Singing

Maury and Carter did a fabulous job at their Spring choir performances!  It's hard to believe this was Maury's last pre-school choir show, she will be singing with the big kids next year!

Celebrating Ann

Just as my first semester wrapped up I got to go on a much needed girls weekend to celebrate Ann's last days as a single lady!  It couldn't have come at a better time for me!  We had a great time in Fairhope and at the Point Clear resort and spa!!!

Pizza, Pops, and PE

Owen got to join Carter at school for "Pizza, Pops, and PE" a few weeks ago!  Cater couldn't wait for the big dad to arrive, he talked about it for weeks!  The dads were instructed to bring a change of clothes to ensure their participation in lots of fun and games!  Carter and Owen reported back that they had a big time :)
I didn't get any photo evidence from Owen but stole this one from Ginger!

Caroline's Birthday Week

Since we couldn't get everyone in the same place at the same time, we celebrated Caroline's 2nd birthday for about a week!  On Sunday (her actual birthday) we had cookie cake with Mimi and Gandy, on Tuesday she celebrated with a cookie and her friends at school, we sang again at church on Wednesday, and on Friday it was cupcakes with Migi and Papa C!!!

Caroline also had her 2 year old check-up!  I can not find the sheet with her stats on it though, hopefully it will turn up and I will add the info later!

Kindergarten Kick-off

Carter's Kindergarten Kick-off was a success!!!  He was thrilled to be there, eager to leave us and go with the teacher, and waved to us until he was out of sight!  It's amazing how different 2 kids/siblings can be.  Maury was so timid and anxious last year.  Carter saw lots of familiar faces and he is so excited about starting at Bluff Park in August!!!

Birthday Season

Not only is it birthday season around our house, lots of friends and family celebrate birthdays this time of year too!  This particular Saturday Maury headed to Decatur to Gray's cookie baking party and Carter went to Nolan's pirate party!!!

Another Trip to the Children's Theatre

Carter's 4th and final field trip to the Children's Theater was the week of Maury's zoo trip.  I didn't get to go this time but he had a big time and loved "Rapunzel and the Rabbit!"

Maury's Zoo Field Trip

I was able to join Maury and her class on their field trip to the zoo on the coldest day of April!  We weren't quite prepared for the weather but the cold did not bother the kids, they had a blast!  Maury has lots of sweet friends in her class!

Caroline's Big Bed

Caroline is not my best sleeper.  Through most of March and April she would wake almost every hour and scream as loud as she could until we put her in our bed.  I thought moving her to a big bed would help but it is mid May and we still aren't sleeping well.  This picture is from her first nap in the "big bed" as she calls it.  She has since moved to another bed, we can't seem to find one that works!!!

It doesn't really matter when she falls asleep, she always ends up in this same spot and position in Mommy and Daddy's bed.....

Carter's Check-Up

Carter survived his 5 year old check up complete with shots that make him ready for Kindergarten!  He did a little screaming but Caroline's terrible behavior is what I remember most from that afternoon!  I was surprised to see Carter was over 50 pounds at 51.5 and he was 45 inches tall.  We are so thankful for a great report on our healthy, happy boy!!!
