Really day 2 if you count our drive down which was not bad at all! We only stopped once for lunch! Hard to believe my two pre-schooler's bladders can make a 8-9 hour drive with one potty stop, they are super travelers!

So anyway, on our first park day we headed to Epcot with Mimi who went the first half of the week to help while Owen had class for his GCSAA conference. Boy am I thankful for Mimi! Epcot was a great first day spot because it wasn't crowded and we got to meet most all of the characters and get autographs with little to no wait in line! Maury wasn't a fan of the characters, she did pretty well with the "face" characters like the princesses but not the full costumed ones, Carter was the opposite. You can see in the pictures. We started our day with a special breakfast with all of the Princesses in Norway and when we left breakfast we saw a Norwegian Boat ride close by and chose this as our first ride of the week as a cast member assured us it was not scary. This turned out to be our biggest mistake of the week because it was a terrifying boat ride in the dark with monsters and the boat even went backward at one point. Maury did okay but Carter was scarred for the rest of the trip (and maybe for life). We went on to ride Nemo, Figment, and whatever else was at Epcot and Carter screamed on each ride. All week before boarding we heard "Is this a boat? Does it have a one-eyed monster? Is there a tunnel?" from Carter. Overall it was a great first day!

So funny! We took Kate on this the first night we got there as well while waiting on dinner reservations at Norway. Kate wasn't a fan either!
