Yesterday was the first time in years that Owen and I have both been off for the 4th of July! We had a big day complete with a little park time, a little pool time, a cookout with the Patterson's, and a mini fireworks show! Since the kids go to bed before dark we had an early show with fireworks that did not leave the ground. So glad we didn't buy many.....they did not like the noisy ones at all and Maury was scared to go to bed when she heard more fireworks outside. She asked if she could sleep with me! Overall it was a fun day. Maybe they'll forget about the frightening fireworks by next year!

Cute! We had fun...glad we got to come over for a "last supper" before the big move! Our poor kids did not see single firework....they were all asleep & we were too! ha!
Looks like a fun last cookout. Wish y'all were close to come to our fireworks show each year down south. It's awesome! :) Cute new layout too!!
