When we got our tree in it's place in our new home we realized we may have been a little off on our estimate of the size tree we would need. In our old house we had an artificial skinny pre-lit tree that fit into a small space. I do love how our tree looks and smells but it takes up most of our den! The kids had a blast decorating (for about 5 minutes). Carter especially loved the lights! Our magic elf also made his arrival on Sunday. When the time came to choose a name Maury left it up to Carter. When we asked Carter what he wanted to name the elf he quickly responded "Blue." Maury agreed that Blue was a good name but later in the day decided maybe since the elf is red we should call him Red. So Red is around but his watching and reporting to Santa do not really affect behavior at the Coulson house.
